Winter under the flood lights

29/10/2026

🏁 The evenings are getting darker, but we’re not packing up! 💡

One of our first outings under the floodlights this year at Elmbridge Model Club – Car Section.

Our floodlit 1/8 buggy track means the fun can carry on through the winter evenings — more laps, more banter and fewer excuses for staying on the sofa! 😂🏎️💨

Wrap up warm, charge those batteries and come join us — winter evenings just got a lot more fun! 😎🏁

Now the nights are drawing it’s time to dig out those crawler cars with lights and popped down to our crawler track cause looking awesome

Bikes, bumps and jumps today down at EMC ! 🏍️🚀💨

Losi bike racing, noisy 1/5-scale 2-stroke buggy action and the Traxxas X-Maxx getting launched 🚀 😂

Another brilliant day of RC fun! 🏁🔥

Nothing beats a spontaneous afternoon at Elmbridge Model Club!

A few of us turned up with the 2-strokes, made plenty of noise and somehow ended up having a proper little race 😂🏁

Sometimes the unplanned club days turn out to be the best ones!
Thanks Damian for the videos.

🏁 A PROPER PETROL-POWERED BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND AT EMC CAR SECTION! 🏁

The big track has been busy this Bank Holiday with plenty of 2-stroke large-scale RC action, accompanied by the usual noise, smoke and unmistakable smell of petrol RC! 💨😂

We even squeezed in some Losi Promoto action for those who prefer doing it on two wheels! 🏍️

And thanks to Tom, we got to see EMC from a completely different angle. 🚁 He captured some great drone footage of the racing and a fantastic widescreen shot (picture in comments) of the whole Car Section — showing our large-scale track, 1/8 buggy track and crawler track together.

It really shows what a cracking RC facility we’ve got. 👌

Cars, bikes, 2-stroke smoke and plenty of laughs — Bank Holiday well spent! 🏁😂
