Finals day order of play!

So far Southbourne Bowls Club have had a very successful season in the 2025 season. We are currently sitting top of division 1 in the West Sussex Bowls League with 3 games remaining to play.

Our remaining league fixtures are…
17/08/25 - Worthing bears at home 2pm
31/08/25 - Pulborough away 2pm
05/09/25 - East Preston away 5.30pm

Whilst competing for the league we have had a good run in the PC cup. We are due to play Chichester in the Semi Final which is an away fixture on 21/08/25 5.30pm

Our club Champion Antony Bull has also progressed all the way to the Champion of Champions final which is a huge achievement, well done and good luck in the final!

Southbourne Bowls Club are offering free 'Taster Sessions' throughout the year at a mutually convenient time. Please get in contact if you would like to give bowls a try.

Our club is open to all abilities and all ages both male and female. We have built a great close nit community at the club and we welcome new members with open arms. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like to join.

We also have a team which plays in the BML Midweek league, any of our members can put their names down to play in these matches and friendlies.

Our bowls green is an all weather green so bowls is available to play all year round. Membership also includes short mat indoor bowls during the winter too.

Today we look to bounce back from an away defeat to Chichester as we host Tarring in the West Sussex Bowls League!

We have also booked the sun to make a re-appearance just in time for start…. 👀🤞🏼

A great day was had at the recent Southbourne Bowls Club Open Fours Tournament, where one of our Directors, Chris Halliwell, was delighted to attend and present the shield and prizes to the winning teams 🏆

We’re proud to continue our long-standing support for Southbourne Bowls Club and the brilliant community spirit it represents.

Our team ready today away at Worthing against the Bears

Today Southbourne will be looking to bounce back from the 10-0 defeat away at Tarring Priory last week.

Come support your local team, 2pm at home!

Southbourne managed to come away from the match with a 6-4 win over Bognor on Sunday.

In the end a good result as Bognor started very quick on all rinks.
