NEW SUNDAY FAMILY & SBT VENUE - Today at KS1 Trinity School (PR7 7JX) from 6.30-8.30pm

Due to the growth in popularity and an increase in numbers training, we have now moved the Sunday Family and SBT to a new larger venue.

So, from today, Sunday 1st November the Family & the Senior Belt Training session we be at KS1 Trinity School, Brookwood Way, PR7 7JX (This is the school near the bridge over the railway, NOT the Tuesday night venue). Times for the classes will remain the same (6.30-8.30pm).

We have the entire hall for both sessions so there will be far more room to train. Entry will be similar to the Tuesday night venue, where you will need to buzz the door to get into the school-due to this please ensure you get to the venue in plenty of time.

The NWTKD Xmas Party & Awards is Saturday 5th December, from 3.00-4.30pm, at Buckshaw Village Community Centre (PR7 7HZ).

Dragons – Pre-School and Reception aged 4.

GTI BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS - SUNDAY 22ND NOV

The last competition of the year is here!! All students are encouraged to attend to continue their development! Students Yellow Tag (9th Kup) and above are able to enter this competition.

Please remember students Green Belt and above must attend one competition a year to be eligible to grade.

Date: Sunday 22nd November - GTI British Championships

GRADING 13th December - now is the time to step up your practice at home to ensure you are fully prepared.

Key Areas to Focus on at Home:

Patterns (Tul): Review your current grade pattern as well as previous ones. Focus heavily on correct stances, crisp transitions, balance, and proper motion/power generation.

Linework & Fundamental Movements: Practice basic blocks, strikes, and stances slowly in front of a mirror to check your positioning and posture.

Kicking Techniques: Work on your flexibility, chamber, focus, and target accuracy (using a pad if you have one available).

Step Sparring (Matsogi): Practice your pre-arranged sparring to build precision and timing.

Consistency is key! Even 10 to 15 minutes of focused practice a few times a week outside of class will make a massive difference.

Please remember to practice all previous theory and practical as well as your current grade syllabus!
