Our Core Coach offer is an entry-point course, equipping participants with the skills and confidence to deliver a one-hour taster session or six-hour pre-planned taster programme.
The course is for community organisations that use multi-sport staff, such as schools, uniforms groups, educational activity providers and holiday activity providers.

Exeter fencing club, Heart of Devon Swords, has a ÂŁ1,200 CrowdFunder for a flat-pack 'SwordSeat' and specialised kit for Para Fencing.
Club coach Jason Ball says:
"Thanks to our donors and partners, we've raised about ÂŁ200 so far. Can't wait to welcome a wider audience to this fast-action sport!"
"Seated Fencing means people can train together on a more equal basis, and the SwordSeat will be ideal. We've tried regular chairs but it's not quite what we need."
LOCAL SUPPORT
A local business collaboration aims to save on SwordSeat costs - updates coming soon. Sponsors for kit or for an audience engagement project could transform the para fencing scene in Devon.
The club teamed up with Devon County Fencing Union who receive all donations for transparency. So every penny raised will boost the sport!

The Entry Fee Support Scheme is now open for the 2026 British Open Championships weekend!
BF is mindful of the rising costs of attending fencing events and the potential barrier to participation this creates for some members of our community.
The Entry Fee Support Scheme offers a limited number of free entries to BF events. Places are offered based on financial need, not on ability and covers 100% of the entry fee cost.
