What a fantastic achievement 👏🏻🏏

🏏 Devon girls crowned international cricket champions after taking on teams from around the world

Cullompton-based BAC Yourself has won the girls’ competition at the APEX International Cricket Festival, overcoming Under-15 opposition from the UK and overseas.

The four-day tournament brought together young cricketers from South Africa, India, the UAE and the UK — with the Devon girls emerging as champions.

⚽️🩷 What a fantastic day for girls’ football!

It was brilliant to be at the Starcross Dons Youth F.C girls’ tournament on Saturday and to see so many girls enjoying the game with smiles on their faces. The atmosphere throughout the day was incredible, with fantastic football, great sportsmanship and plenty of support from the sidelines.

A huge congratulations to Starcross Dons Youth FC and all of the volunteers, coaches and organisers who worked so hard to put together such a well-run event. Days like these don’t happen without the dedication of so many people behind the scenes.

We’re so excited to see girls’ football continuing to grow across our area. Every tournament, training session and match gives more girls the opportunity to get involved, build confidence, make friends and fall in love with the game.

Well done to every player who took part—you should all be proud! 💙⚽💪

🙌 What a fantastic evening!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Wednesday for our Injury Prevention Training. It was brilliant to see so many coaches from across different sports coming together to learn, share experiences and get involved in the practical elements of the session.

A massive thank you to Natalie at Power Up To Play for delivering such an informative and engaging workshop, giving coaches the confidence and knowledge to help keep the girls they coach safe, whatever pitch, court or playing surface they’re on.

We’re also incredibly grateful to Exeter Saracens RFC for hosting us and providing a fantastic venue for the evening.

This is just the beginning! Due to the positive feedback, we’re already looking at hosting another injury prevention session in the future.

👀 And don’t forget to give us a follow—we’ll soon be announcing a CPR training session for grassroots coaches, another opportunity to gain valuable lifesaving skills.

Thank you again to everyone who attended and continues to support our mission of helping more girls get involved in sport… and stay there. 💙💜

Whether you’re already sporty or trying something completely different, stepping outside your comfort zone could help you discover a sport you’ll love. 💛
