🤓 I’ve got some fun facts. Let’s get nerdy.

• We’ve use M5 threaded bleed ports on both the HEL Advocate master cylinder and caliper. That means straight-up compatibility with the SRAM Pro bleed kit, plus most universal kits using M5 adapters. Here’s a HEL tip: ditch single-use syringes - quality reusable ones give a stronger, more accurate bleed and will see you through many services and seasonal maintenance ☑️

• DOT 5.1 ONLY. Seriously. Please don’t introduce mineral oil into the system - it ends in tears 😬 Many of you ask why, and we’re covering this in a video soon. That said… we are flirting with the idea of mineral oil for the next-gen Advocate and our in-development Raiser 2-piston XC/trail brake system 👀

• Our bleed block is pure machined billet, and does fit some other calipers on the market. We did Onyx 3D-print a batch of these but it felt like we cut a corner and they deserved to be a nice little easter egg when you buy your HEL Advocate brake system. You guys love them, and we often receive emails and messages saying how much of a nice touch it is - so we know we made the right decision rather than saving money 🙏🏻

• Shoutout to local legends **es who supply all our assembly liquids, pastes, and greases - made just 12 miles from our front door. We’re in the process of listing the full JL range on our website, so if you’re servicing your HEL brakes or pedals, we’ve got the l**e covered 💦
