British Age Group Championships 2026 🥳

Fantastic competition for our Youth squad bringing home 2 gold🥇 4 silver🥈 and 2 bronze 🥉 medals.

Many thanks to Coach .borak and all the parents who made the long drive up to Huddersfield and stayed to support each other 😍

Good luck to Clio Bellenis and Debbie Swanson competing in
the World Masters Weightlifting Championship starting this Thursday in Athens.

They have both worked extremely hard, qualifying to represent Great Britain and then training consistently in order to bring their very best game to the platform.

What makes this an exceptional achievement is that both women are in remission from cancer.

Clio and Debs returned to Olympic Weightlifting as soon as they were given the green light and have found the benefits this sport provides in terms of improved muscle mass, bone health, energy levels and mood
as well as the sense of belonging to a community.

Hampshire Barbell Club is very proud of their achievements and wishes them the best of luck.
In our eyes you are both winners already.

Week 4 of our Learn 2 Lift course with Coach
8 beginners who now are officially in love with Olympic Weightlifting and preparing to join ‘big’ classes.
Fantastic group, lots of raw talent, lots of fun, sweat but definitely no tears.
Looking forward to seeing you all next week.

Start list for the third round of the Club Cup 2026.

We look forward to welcoming lifters, coaches and supporters to the club.

Parking is available within the grounds of Portchester Community School. Unfortunately no dogs are allowed on site.

We have a club cafe offering hot and cold drinks and tasty treats, so please bring some loose change.
