Dedicated to bouldering, Red Spider is a major climbing centre for Portsmouth and Southampton: based in the old Fort Wallington in Fareham and just a few seconds from Junction 11 of the M27.

📣We are going off-circuit!📣
🔴 What is happening?
This means that the hold colour will no longer determine the grade of the bloc. You can identify the grade of the bloc by the tags at every start hold.
🔴 Why is this happening?
This change will allow our setters to have creative freedom in using a wider variety of holds, providing you with different styles to climb.
🔴 When is this happening?
We are slowly rolling this change out across the centre - the recent Back Street and Iceberg set have been set in the off-circuit style, and the rest of the centre will slowly follow as each area is set.

We know that a lot of our customers use Pinks Hill as a direct route to Red Spider, and to avoid any disruptions to your visits this week, please be advised that Pinks Hill is closed for repairs until Friday 15th May.
Please use the highlighted blue route to access us. Following maps on your phone will also divert you to the centre during this time.
