Welcome to the Loons - Luca Perrie and Ethan Crombie
Forfar Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of Luca Perrie and Ethan Crombie as part of our new cooperation agreement with Dundee.
18 year old striker Luca had a highly fruitful spell on loan from Dens Park at Dundee North End last term and is already off the mark in senior football, having scored against Peterhead in the challenge cup this term.
He will bolster our front lines for the remainder of the campaign.
17 year old midfielder Ethan featured on loan for neighbours Brechin City in the Highland League last term and will look to continue his progress at the Parkgrove Stadium this season.
All at Forfar Athletic look forward to seeing Ethan and Luca pull on the sky blue shirt.

The agreement allows young players to join the Loons on temporary transfers and move freely between the clubs for the duration of their loans.
We thank Dundee for their cooperation in forming this new partnership.
The Loons will initially have two new youngsters joining the ranks…

Preview
The ‘Loons’ will welcome Stranraer to the Parkgrove Stadium @ Station Park on Saturday for what will be their third home game of the league campaign.
The previous two have resulted in victories over Kelty Hearts and Stirling Albion; in fact, the Athies have now gone nine games undefeated at home in William Hill League2 fixtures, the ‘Binos’ the last to ‘lower their colours’ on home soil back in late January.
Manager Jim Weir hopes that the current injury-hit squad will carry the confidence a run like this gives into Saturday’s contest against Chris Aitken’s side. The visitors are always a difficult and well-organised side to come up against, a keynote of sides prepared by Chris and brother Steve, a tremendous work ethic, a fact acknowledged by the home management team.
Jim and Gavin, though, believe our own squad have the same attributes and go into the game on the back of picking up a hard-fought point in Edinburgh on Friday of last week.
The back four on the night of Aaron Lynas, Jack Wyllie, Jake Dolzanski and debutant Marcus Syme defended stoutly, especially in the closing period of the contest, but it was an all-round team performance showing plenty of grit and determination that accrued a valuable point.
Mention was made above of Marcus, who has arrived on loan from Hamilton Accies, and he was joined this week by goalkeeper Theo Simpson from Aberdeen, who will initially provide back-up but, more importantly, competition for Neil Stafford, who has been in brilliant penalty-saving mode in recent times.
Disappointingly, the four senior players who missed out at Meadowbank will again sit out Saturday’s contest, with Adam Livingstone continuing to improve following his dramatic injury in the recent KDM tie.
Stranraer travel north having recorded two wins and a draw to date in their five league outings, while on Tuesday past they lost an entertaining Challenge Cup clash with Celtic ‘B’ by the odd goal in seven.
They have brought in around ten new faces since the end of last season, four on loan.
Last term, the ‘Loons’ recorded two wins, a defeat and a draw in the four outings against the Stair Park outfit,
This is the first game of an exceptionally busy spell for the home side. As mentioned in a separate article earlier in the week, Jim Weir is confident that his squad numbers will be boosted further by kick-off on Saturday to help cope with the workload.
As ever, the home support can play their part and no doubt will in what will be another hard-fought encounter, of that there is no doubt.
Gary Hanvidge is the man in charge of proceedings on the day.
