We have had such a busy first year at Wight Rocking Rollers it’s hard to cram it all into one reel 🧡🖤👏
Here are a few of our highlights to celebrate one whole year of our WRR family 🧡
🖤 October - we started our journey!🛼⚡️
🖤 November - Building our team with even more awesome team members. 🧡
🖤 December - Our team started getting better and stronger with guidance from our coaches 🛼👏
🖤 January - A few of us went over the water to NSO for Portsmouth Roller Wenches 💙🤍
🖤 February - Training continued and we started to see more of our players in games and scrims over the water 🌊
🖤 March - Hetty, TT and Short played games at the Flower Power event at Pitt Street! 🌸
🖤April - More of the team took part in their first scrims and continued hard work at training.
🖤 May - Our first IOW scrim was a huuuuge success!
🖤 June - Summer Fun - many outdoor skates and sunsets 🌅☺️
🖤 July - A bunch of us went to play games at Eastbourne Extreme which was so much fun! 🛼
🖤 August - We popped on our wheels for Newport Carnival and Mama Short made internet fame with her skating reel 👏📸
🖤 September - New skater intake was a huge success and our new teamies are well underway with their new skater training! 🖤👏
Tommy Bruiser and Spinner tied the knot 💍💒
🖤 October - Grizz won an award for Best Jammer when he went to play ‘overseas’, Hetty, Short, Threat and TT went to play in Copenhagen (what a huge achievement!) and of course we had our first birthday party 🥳
…and this is just THE FIRST YEAR!! Here’s to the next one being even more awesome 🤩✨
