Despite a very long first match for Jo & Suzie, who won it on a 3rd set championship tie-break, overall it was a 1-3 loss.

A creditable 2-2 draw against the runaway league leaders, Frampton B. Two championship tie-breaks converted and one loss by the slimmest of margins (15-13).

What a fantastic day of tennis at our Mixed Doubles Tournament!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, supported from the sidelines, and helped make the event such a success.

There were some outstanding matches and plenty of memorable rallies throughout the day finished with fantastic final! It was wonderful to see so many members enjoying the competition and cheering each other on.

A HUGE congratulations to DL Glos player Mia, who has booked her place at the Play Your Way to Wimbledon National Finals after winning today’s 14U County Finals at Oxstalls! 🤩👏

The final had everything, with Mia holding her nerve to edge a thrilling 10-8 victory in the deciding match tie-break. 💪🔥
