It was another great tournament for our coaching group this morning. Congratulations to our champions Leanne and Chris 🤩

Tennis Chicks on tour. Last year Wrexham, this year Edgbaston. Next year who knows 🤩

Not content with playing league matches, we also have our own club tournaments during the summer. Yesterday afternoon Jill and Ros beat myself and Beccy in a very close match 6-3 3-6 1-0. Jill and Ros move onto the next round - good luck girls!

It was a very important day at the Club yesterday when Helen Williams and Helen Stevens from the Gloucestershire Lawn Tennis Association visited to present the Cathie Sabin Volunteer of the Year Award to our very own Richard Jenner.

The award was made in recognition of all the hard work Richard does in running our amazing coaching programme each week and in welcoming all our new members.

Spurred on by our supporters (thanks guys!) the Ladies B Team beat Painswick 3-1 last night in a great match with lots of rallies and deuces 🥳. We're away at Painswick next Friday when hopefully we can repeat the win 🤞. Well played team 🤩

The Ladies B Team has another home match tonight and the weather looks like it's going to play ball (pardon the pun). Spectators are always welcome so come along and cheer us on 🤩

Just wishing Jess Rayson all the best for running the London Marathon tomorrow. We know you'll smash it Jess 😍!

Wow, what a great tournament we had for our coaching groups this morning! 16 players, 3 umpires and 7 spectators - our best turnout yet and great support for the participants. Thanks to everyone who came along to watch. Our winner this time was Beccy (seated) 🤩 🥳

Wow, what a great start to the season for the newly promoted Ladies B Team, who beat Nailsworth 4-0 last night 🤩. I don't think we've ever played so many deuces, or won so many tie breaks, so it was great practice for everyone and a really satisfying result - well done girls!
