🚧🏉 Our changing unit has arrived!

It’s a big step forward for Goole RUFC, made possible by Wernick, who kindly donated the unit. A special thank you to Paul Abbott, Wernick’s depot manager, for organising the donation. 💙

The latest photos show the unit being delivered and craned into position at Westfield Banks. Thanks to Dimmack Brothers for the groundwork and to the delivery and crane team for getting it into place.

The new changing unit is part of our plans to make the Mini & Junior end of the club more welcoming and accessible for our young players, families, coaches and volunteers.

Nearly done!

Another November means another MOVEMBER for our lads 🥸🔵🟡

This November, Goole RUFC is once again getting behind Movember, raising awareness and starting conversations around men’s health.

It’s more than just growing facial hair at our club, it’s about looking out for one another, checking in with your mates and knowing that a conversation can make a difference🤝🏼

Whether you’re growing a Mo or simply showing your support, let’s get behind the cause - get behind the team and donate this Movember:

🏉💪 THE UNSUNG HEROES! 💪🏉

🌧️ Driving rain, howling wind, heavy legs and absolutely nowhere to hide!

They might not always grab the headlines or score the spectacular tries, but the big men up front are the heartbeat of every rugby team 💙💛

This photo (Credit: Roy Appleyard) sums it up perfectly. Pure grit, determination and a refusal to take a backward step.

In Saturday's battle against Old Otliensians, conditions were brutal, but the commitment was unquestionable.

The hard yards. The big hits. The unseen work.

Not always glamorous, rarely easy, but absolutely essential.

👏 Here's to the prop forwards and all those who do the dirty work so others can shine.

Rugby isn't always pretty. But this is what it's all about! 🏉

Weekend Preview

🏉🔥 1ST v 2ND – BATTLE OF THE UNBEATEN! 🔥🏉

It's another HUGE test for Goole this Saturday as we travel to Old Otliensians for a top-of-the-table clash in Counties 1 Yorkshire.

🔵 GOOLE:1st | 4 wins from 4 | 20 points
⚔️ OLD OTLIENSIANS: 2nd | 4 wins from 4 | 18 points

Two unbeaten sides. Two perfect winning records. Something has to give.

Goole head to Otley on the back of last weekend's incredible 38–36 victory over Old Crossleyans, sealed by Rhys Moore's dramatic last-kick penalty after a remarkable second-half comeback from the visitors.

Our hosts are flying too, having dispatched Old Rishworthians 35–7 last weekend, and will be determined to leapfrog Goole at the top of the table.

💪 The challenge? 80 minutes of intensity, discipline and determination against one of the division's strongest sides.

It's still early in the season, but this could be a hugely significant afternoon in the promotion race!

👏 TRAVELLING SUPPORTERS – WE NEED YOU

Get behind the lads as they look to make it FIVE FROM FIVE!

🔵⚪ COME ON GOOLE!*🔵⚪
