BREAKING NEWS!

A huge change has come across our desk at Goring United today, which sees (sponsored by TDE Garden Services) becoming the captain of the reserves.

Manager Ryan Webb describes him as "a vocal team player that leads by example", so he will be an exciting addition to the reserves team.

In other news, Goring living-legend Dan Franklin returns, taking to the pitch as vice captain and working alongside Tommy. A player who has a wealth of experience and a great attitude is sure to become a welcome addition to the squad.

MATCH RESULT

Not an ideal trip away against as we lose 4-1.

The opposition scored an early goal before we hit back with a great ball and finish by James Plumridge.

We then conceded a penalty just before half time due to a handball, when the player it hit received a nosebleed 🤔

The opposition then scored 2 more in the second half, sealing their victory.

UNDER THE LIGHTS!

Tomorrow night we face in our second game of the season!

We are hoping to build on Saturday's strong 3-1 victory with a midweek win this Wednesday.

High scoring Yateley sit 4th in the league with 6 points after 3 games, and we sit 8th with 3 points off of one game, so it will be a good test for the travelling Gees!

What. A. Performance.

The Gees ressies run out 4-1 winner against development.

After conceding in the first minute, we fought back and scored 2 before half time. We then put the opposition to the sword and scored 2 more.

A special mention to Will Graham and Theo Rosi for getting two assists each. 🔥🔥

This week we face off against , kicking off our campaign. With new faces and many old, we are looking to build on last seasons successes, and push ourselves in this highly competitive league.

Strangely, we are playing a home game at the oppositions ground, though not in their stadium, but at the nearby Atrium Health Club.
