This is what we call the perfect Sunday! 🙌

With over 70 runners and 15+ volunteers at the start line, it was amazing to see so many of our club members come together. It was also lovely to see some familiar faces cheering us on and giving everyone that extra boost before the race! 💪

There were some incredible PBs smashed today, including a few impressive sub-40-minute 10Ks! 🔥👏

A huge well done to everyone who took part, whether it was your first race, your first 10K or another milestone to add to your running journey. Every achievement deserves celebrating! 🥳

A perfect day of running, supporting one another and celebrating together, finished off with a well-earned pint, wine or prosecco! 🍻🍷🍾

And what better way to mark the occasion than with a football shirt theme? We had some absolute belters, a few questionable choices… and some proper shockers! 😂👕⚽

Three routes, one very social evening — 5K, 9K & 11K all covered! 🙌

Plenty of catch-ups, plenty of laughs and just the right amount of running… because we’re here for the social as much as the miles! 💬✨

The nights are drawing in now, so you might start spotting us lighting up the roads on Thursday evenings! 💡🌙

✨🏃‍♀️💜We are excited to announce that we will be hosting the Let’s Lift the Curfew campaign run again this year after the success of last year.

This year in association with This Girl Can England Athletics Essex Police Harlow Running & Tri Club

For those that weren’t there last year, Let’s Lift the Curfew is a national movement created by charity, This Girl Can to highlight the restrictions many women face during the darker months because they do not feel safe.

By running together, we’ll be showing our support for every woman who has ever cut a run short, avoided a particular route, carried something for protection or decided not to go out at all because she felt unsafe.

Everyone is welcome to join us and show their support and no one will be left behind. Please wear something bright or reflective and bring a headtorch or running light✨🏃‍♀️💜

You do not need to be a member of the club to join us for the night, this is about coming together as a community.

Can’t wait to see you all there! 🔦✨💜
