Join our Glow Ride on the 22nd October! This ride is part of the 'My ride. Our right' mass glow rides night of action. Together, we’ll light up the night and call for safer streets and better cycling infrastructure, especially for women riding after dark.
Let's show Harlow that women WILL cycle and that our great cycle paths and our roads should be safe for ALL cyclists.
Arrive at 5:45 pm in the car park next to The Poplar Kitten pub. We will ride a circular route starting at Bush Fair, riding to Harlow Town Station, then through Harlow Town Park, along to Harlow Museum, and back to Bush Fair via Latton Lane and Southern Way. We will be using Harlow's famous cycle paths for much of the ride, including the new 'Dutch-style ' roundabout near the station. The pace will be easy, and the distance around 7 miles.
If refreshment after the ride is needed, we can pop into The Poplar Kitten.
All are welcome - experienced and inexperienced cyclists equally. Please let us know if you have participated in organised and mass rides before, especially if you are experienced at marshalling. Young people under 16 will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult, who will also be cycling.
