Ripon Races

We were delighted to welcome a group of students and staff from to last night’s race meeting as part of an introduction to the exciting world of horseracing.

The group enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the weighing room led by our Raceday Clerk of the Course, gained valuable insight into the sport from , and learned how to read and understand a racecard before putting their new knowledge into practice throughout the evening’s racing.

Our sixth and final race, The Ripon Theatre Festival 5th-12th July Handicap Stakes provided a second win for Hector Crouch, this time on Ziggy’s Avenger!
