Each week one child from every age group within our Mini Rugby Section is chosen to receive a Weekly Mascot Award, celebrating those who have demonstrated one or more of Rugby’s core values:

The award recognises children who show great attitude, effort and behaviour. Whether that’s supporting a teammate, showing respect, working hard, demonstrating sportsmanship or simply bringing a positive attitude to rugby.

We’re proud to celebrate our young players and the fantastic examples they set both on and off the pitch 💪🏻

🏉 U6 Tag Rugby • Every Sunday at Harwich & Dovercourt Rugby Club • 10am

Join our Rugby Family, with a focus on Fun, Friendship & Developing Rugby’s Core Values. We have spaces available in our U6 Sessions. Training on Sunday mornings (no matches).

Our U6 sessions are a great way to introduce 5 year old boys and girls to tag rugby, with an annual membership of just £45.

Whether they’re completely new to rugby or have played before, everyone is welcome.

Our U6 sessions are a pathway to U7 tag rugby, a fast, fun, and completely non-contact format for children in School Year 2, governed by the England Rugby Age Grade Rules. It focuses on core skills like running in space, passing backwards, and scoring tries. At U7s children play matches against other clubs with the local area.
