"Another season ends, they seem to go quicker every summer! 🏏🌱
A small message from our groundsman.
Just a few words from me to thank everyone who has helped on the ground this year. I'm incredibly lucky to have a regular crew, whether it be moving covers, rolling, cutting the outfield, tidying up the hedges and ditches, picking up litter, emptying bins, or sorting matchday essentials like the sightscreens and discs.
A massive thank you to Brent, John, Pete, and my Father. When everyone turns up and the ground is looking good, it is entirely down to them, and they are the reason I only need to focus on the square.
A big thanks also to the many others, too many to name, who help set the ground up in April and put it to bed in September.
End-of-season renovations have kicked off with huge thanks to James Collins, who always does an excellent job and is always on the end of the phone when I need a bit of advice.
Already looking forward to next season!
