Full time at Bramall Lane: Town takes all 3 points.

We stay 3rd on the table, but gaining a buffer with 11 points compared to fourth place Forest with 9 points.

Two simply stellar goals from Meg and Princess, both full of power, confidence, and a good distance from goal. We held a comfortable lead until a well-worked goal came from Blades' Scofield in the 78th minute. Town stayed firm though, taking the win.

Safe travels home to everyone who made the 3.5hour journey!

We'll see you after the international break, away at Wolves on October 18th.

XI v Sheffield United (A) ⚔️

Princess and Georgia lead the line. Our formidable midfield is back together and the backline is as strong as ever. Proulx back in goal after Nat's incredible game on Wednesday.

You can watch LIVE via the Barclays WSL2 YouTube channel. Kick-off is 2pm.

So shall we talk about it?!

What an incredible performance. It was so unlucky to concede in the 90th minute BUT... to play a team a whole league above, with their level of experience, world class players... and hold them 0-0 for 90 minutes... it just shows how far this club has come.

There was so much to be proud of. Negri reminded us all what an exceptional talent she is - some of those stops were spectacular. Lucy OB was simply outstanding, challenging every chance. Between Weir and Peake, there were enough headers to last the season!

We are immensely proud of our Tractor Girls.

It's always a pleasure to host some of the game's greats: England legend Mary Earps gave so much time to fans from both sides after the game. And of course we welcomed two time Ballon D'or winner Alexia Putellas to Colchester too.

It really had the feel of a special occasion!

Next we play Sheffield away on Sunday, 2pm. Tickets available via Sheffield United's website.

Once a Blue, always a Blue 💙

It was so good to see sophiepeskett back today, cheering on the Tractor Girls.

We often see Blues returning to show their support, sometimes long after they leave, and it just shows the kind of club we are. Town is so special.

Pesk is thriving up in the WSL, scoring her first goal for Brighton this week! We may miss her, be we are so proud of what she's doing and the journey she is on!

Don't be a stranger, sophiepeskett 💙

Another big win for Town!

Wolves arrived full of confidence following two wins against bottom-of-the-table teams, but Ipswich soon showed them what we're made of!
Wolves took an early lead, despite the ball going out in the run in. We then equalised with a fantastic goal from Princess Ademiluyi . Our captain came through with a rather confusing goal, before firing in a screamer and securing our victory.
Aimee Palmer was crowned PoTM today, but honestly it could have been a number of the team. Some amazing football played so far this season and we now sit THIRD on the table!
We are so excited to see what this team can do👏🏼
