Ratio Drop Bar Conversion for SRAM Eagle 70/90

Our new conversion kit adapts your SRAM Eagle 70/90 derailleur to run with SRAM Apex 12-speed mechanical drop bar shifters.

SRAM Eagle 70 and 90 derailleurs open up their best-shifting Transmission cassettes to mechanical drivetrains. But they use a new T-Type cable pull ratio that isn't natively compatible with Apex 12 drop-bar shifters, and are designed for MTB cable routing without a barrel adjuster. Our new conversion kit solves these problems.

Install on your gravel bike, adventure, or drop-bar MTB to benefit from the durability of a direct-mount derailleur and shifting-under-load performance of Transmission. 

The kit includes a replacement fin and link, made in-house by us in the Lake District. We machine this from a single-piece of  high-strength aluminium, and the rear-exit barrel adjuster we 3D print to optimise clean cable routing for gravel frames.

Ratio T Hanger Launch

The T Hanger enables the installation of SRAM Transmission 12 and 13 speed cassettes on bikes with SRAM UDH-compatible dropouts, as these cassettes sit around 2.5 mm further outboard than standard. Paired with the Ratio Mech, you can now run SRAM Transmission cassettes with mechanical shifters.

The new hanger is machined from high-strength 7075 aluminium, making it 1.8 times stronger than the 6082 grade commonly used for derailleur hangers. This means you can hit the T Hanger nearly twice as hard as a conventional design before it bends.
