A lovely walk at Paull this afternoon.
I was primarily looking for elderflower to flavour my water kefir, but few were within reach.
There were, however, masses of dog roses in flower, so I will be returning in a few months time, when I need rosehips. And there is always plenty of hawthorn at Paull. Once the hawes turn deep red, they will be ready to make into fruit leathers.

June is most definitely the month of the rose.
And rose is so beneficial for our heart, our nerves, and our largest organ, our skin.
This afternoon, I made rose petal bliss balls for our Summer Solstice Yoga Day Retreat, now at the YogaCraft Studio on Chanterlands Avenue, HU5.
They are vegan, gluten-free, and raw.
They also contain a good dose of cacao and ashwagandha!
They smell amazing!
Spaces are still available on our Retreat Day.
Saturday 20th June
10am-2pm
Investment: £40
Do get in touch if you'd like to come along x.

This afternoon, I've been busy prepping the Cherry Rose Harissa. One of my favourite recipes we'll be making during this workshop, and adapted from a Rachel de Thample recipe.
We shall also be making Tapache together, Cucumber Kimchi and plenty more summery ferments.
The workshop costs £20 per person.
Do get in touch if you'd like to come along.

My first batch of raw seedy crackers, since returning home from our road trip.
Sadly, our van does not have a built in dehydrator, and I've missed my crackers.
Plus a lovely glass jar I found in a charity shop in Norfolk, in which to keep them.
