📣 And we’re back. Properly.

The 2026 | 2027 rugby season starts this weekend, with a full DK fixture list across Saturday and Sunday.

Our 1st XV open their league season at Heathbrook against Hereford RFC on Saturday, KO 14.15, while our 2nd XV and Wasps are on the road for their away games.

Then on Sunday it’s over to the Vixens, Colts and M&Js.

PRE MATCH HOSPITALITY 🏉

We’ve waited a little longer for this one.

Saturday 26 September and the league season finally gets underway at Heathbrook, with our 1st XV welcoming Hereford RFC.

So, before the rugby, how about lunch?

We’ll be in the Penzer St Lounge from 13.00 for our first pre match buffet of the new season.

Nothing formal. Just a good buffet, good company and a Saturday afternoon of rugby waiting on the other side.

There’s Premiership and women’s rugby on the screens across the weekend too. And because it feels good to have rugby back…

The cards are ready. The Joker’s hiding. Chase the Joker is back at Heathbrook. 👀

Our first draw of the new season takes place this Saturday 26th September.

🎟️ Tickets are £5, available now from the clubhouse and will also be on sale throughout Saturday before the draw.

One ticket will be drawn, with £50 guaranteed to the winner. Then comes the interesting bit… flip a card, find the Joker and take the jackpot. 💥

No Joker? The card is revealed, the jackpot rolls over and there’s one less place for him to hide.

You don’t need to be there to win either. If your ticket comes out, we’ll give you a call. ☎️

Right then… time to start chasing him again. 🃏

Well… hello, Eagles. 👋

There’s a new name in our Minis & Juniors this season, and judging by this morning, they’ve settled in rather nicely.

🦅 Meet our Eagles, our new U7s.

There are tag belts everywhere. Getting everyone to look at the camera at the same time is apparently ambitious. And somewhere amongst it all, there’s some rugby happening too. 😁

This is where it starts. Learning the game, making friends, having fun and discovering Sunday mornings at Heathbrook.

And yes… the Eagles have landed.

This time, it’s a Pre-Season Special, with our very own Director of Rugby Rob Chivers joining the conversation, along with a few other familiar voices from around Heathbrook.

Pre-season, the season ahead, rugby at DK and probably a few diversions that weren’t on the original list. With a Grumpy Old Lock, Big Camp Prop and a Sassy Little Fox asking the questions.

🎙️ FIVE TEAMS. ONE SATURDAY.

It’s been a busy few weeks for our DK Running Club, and Saturday continued that run with five teams at the Autumn Road Relays at Sutton Park.

DK fielded three men’s teams and two women’s teams, each taking on the relay route of just over 5k.

The event is held twice a year, in autumn and spring, and attracts clubs from across the region and further afield.

Another strong turnout for the blue hoops.

Well done to everyone who ran and supported. 💙
