We miss you more than words can say, Nala.
We miss the sound of your claws on the floor ā that little rhythm that followed us everywhere. The thump as you dropped into your bed after a long day of just being you. The dog flap going, and knowing it was you, coming back in like you owned the place.
We miss your wee face peeking round the corner when we got home⦠like we were the best part of your day.
We miss your tap dancing when you wanted something, and the way youād shout at us like we were the problem. You had so much attitude, so much personality⦠never in the background, always making sure you were seen.
We miss you watching through the flap when you heard the ham packet⦠one eye covered, waiting patiently like you always did.
We miss your expressions, your little tantrums, and the way you always found a way to be understood.
We miss checking in on you through Nala Cam, just to make sure you were okay.
We miss the door nudging open at night⦠that quiet reminder you were close.
Weāll miss you at Christmas, in amongst the presents ā exactly where you belong.
Weāll miss how gentle and loving you were with the kids⦠patient, kind, and full of quiet love.
Itās the little things that hit the hardest. The sounds, the routines, the moments we never thought twice about ā they were you.
Nala, you werenāt just our dog⦠you were part of us.
And the silence youāve left behind says more than anything ever could. š¾š

Chasing aesthetics can mess with your head more than most people admit
You train hard.
You track your food.
You hit your steps.
And then you look in the mirror expecting something dramatic to happen overnightā¦
But your body doesnāt care about your timeline
Fat loss is slow.
Muscle gain is slower.
And we have zero control over how quickly our body adapts.
When your entire motivation is tied to how you look in a photo or how tight your t-shirt feels, it becomes a mental rollercoaster
One good pump = youāre āmaking progressā
One flat day = youāre āgoing backwardsā
One fluctuation on the scale = panic
Thatās exhausting.
And the irony? The more you obsess over the aesthetic outcome, the more stress you create
And stress doesnāt exactly help body composition.
A much healthier (and smarter) way forward is focusing on what you can control
Showing up to your sessions
Hitting your protein target
Improving your lifts week to week
Getting your steps in
Sleeping 7ā8 hours
Managing stress
Sticking to your plan on the hard days
Those are controllables.
They build competence.
They build confidence.
They build identity.
Instead of āI hope I look better soon,ā it becomes:
āIām someone who trains consistently.ā
āIām someone who fuels properly.ā
āIām someone who follows through.ā
That shift is powerful psychologically
You stop chasing validation from the mirror.
You start building proof through your actions.
And hereās the funny partā¦
When you consistently execute the behaviours you control, the aesthetics usually fall into place as a byproduct
Not because you obsessed over them.
But because you built the habits that make them inevitable.
Focus on becoming the type of person who does the work
Let the physique be the side effect.

Too many coaches design programs around their idealsā¦
And then expect the client to magically fit the strategy.
Thatās backwards.
The client doesnāt need to become a 5am-training, chicken-and-broccoli, step-count-obsessed robot just because thatās what works for others.
They have:
⢠Jobs
⢠Kids
⢠Stress
⢠Social lives
⢠Energy fluctuations
⢠Real human habits
If your strategy only works when life is perfect⦠itās not a good strategy.
A great coach doesnāt ask:
āHow do I get them to comply with my system?ā
They ask:
āHow do I build a system that works inside their reality?ā
That means:
ā Designing training frequency around their schedule, not your preference
ā Building nutrition around foods they actually eat
ā Adjusting intensity based on recovery and stress
ā Meeting them where they are, not where you wish they were
Compliance isnāt about discipline.
Itās about alignment.
When the strategy fits the client, consistency becomes natural.
And consistency beats the āperfectā program every time.
Coaching isnāt about creating mini versions of you.
Itās about creating sustainable results for them.
Thatās the difference between ego-driven programmingā¦
And client-centred coaching.
True Results Coaching will always design strategies around the client!

š„Not all coaching is created equal.š„
Some trainers rely on templated programmes.
Same structure.
Same meal plan.
Same PDF.
Different name at the top.
They chase the latest trend.
They prioritise quick transformations.
They push intensity over sustainability.
And sometimes⦠the coaching style becomes more instruction than collaboration.
It can work short term.
But long term? Thatās where most people struggle.
āø»
True Results Coaching is different.
I donāt build programmes around what makes me look good.
I build them around what makes you succeed.
ā No cookie-cutter templates
ā No āone-size-fits-allā calories
ā No extreme, unsustainable methods
ā No shouting from the sidelines
Instead, you get:
⢠Personalised programming built around your lifestyle
⢠Education so you understand why youāre doing what youāre doing
⢠Adjustments based on data ā not ego
⢠A coaching relationship, not a dictatorship
⢠Long-term strategy over 6-week hype
Because real progress isnāt about dramatic before & after photos.
Itās about habits.
Structure.
Consistency.
Autonomy.
Itās about helping you become the type of person who doesnāt need constant external motivation.
Thatās the difference.
Thatās True Results Coaching. š

Thereās a Fine Line Between Nutrition Guidance⦠And Food Fear.
As coaches, we need to be careful.
Yes ā nutrition matters.
Yes ā education matters.
Yes ā some foods are more supportive of health and body composition than others.
But thereās a difference between guiding someoneā¦
And making them afraid of eating.
When advice turns into:
⢠āThat food is toxic.ā
⢠āYou should never eat that.ā
⢠āCarbs make you gain fat.ā
⢠āSugar is basically poison.ā
We stop teaching.
And we start creating anxiety.
Clients begin to feel guilt around meals.
Stress around social events.
Shame when they āslip up.ā
Thatās not health. Thatās fear-based compliance.
Hereās the balance:
Educate without exaggerating.
Encourage without demonising.
Create awareness without creating obsession.
Nutrition should build autonomy, not dependency.
It should give clients confidence to make informed decisions ā not make them feel like one wrong bite ruins everything.
For clients reading this:
If you feel anxious eating normal foodsā¦
If you feel guilty for enjoying a meal outā¦
If you feel āgoodā or ābadā based on what you ate that dayā¦
Thatās not sustainable nutrition.
Thatās stress disguised as discipline.
Good coaching builds skill.
Great coaching builds a healthy relationship with food.
Thereās power in teaching someone how to eat well.
But thereās responsibility in how you say it.

Iām Not Your Dictator. Iām Your Guide.
If you work with me, understand this:
Iām not here to control you.
Iām not here to bark orders.
Iām not here to micromanage every bite or every step.
Iām here to guide you.
Thereās a big difference.
A dictator says:
āDo this because I said so.ā
āNo excuses.ā
āJust be more disciplined.ā
A guide says:
āHereās why this matters.ā
āLetās find a way that works for you.ā
āWhatās realistic in your life right now?ā
Real coaching isnāt about authority.
Itās about leadership.
My job isnāt to make decisions for you forever.
Itās to:
⢠Teach you how to think
⢠Help you understand your body
⢠Adjust when life shifts
⢠Build habits you can sustain without me
If a client only succeeds when Iām watchingā¦
I havenāt done my job properly.
You donāt need someone to control you.
You need someone who can walk beside you, challenge you when needed, support you when itās hard, and call you forward without tearing you down.
Iāll push you.
Iāll hold you accountable.
But Iāll never try to dominate your life.
Because long-term results donāt come from fear.
They come from ownership.
And ownership is built through guidance ā not control.
