Plenty of spaces available at our Little Robins development school every Saturday morning - the best place to start learning skills before joining a team! This week we move to the club home ground, but we're usually at Arden School; give us a go!

Weekend round up!

The Men's First Team drew 1-1 with FC Peterborough on Saturday afternoon, thanks to a late Connor Mort strike. The 100% record may have gone, but the side remain unbeaten in the league.

The Vets were in superb form Sunday morning, with a 1-7 win over at Alvechurch. Kristian Hollowood banged in a hatrrick on his 100th appearance, and was joined on the goalscorers list by John Holmes, Beau Giblin, Tom Hodson and Matt Bailey.

Pigeons had to overcome a red card to battle to victory against Midland Lions, 4-1 the final score. Fin Douglas with a brace on debut, and Jamie Eden matching him with two of his own.

The Women's side also went down to ten, but came away from Leek Town with a point after a 1-1 draw. Grace Evans the goalscorer, Sophie Henness the penalty saving hero.

Well done all!

Here's what happened at the weekend...

The Men's First Team came back from the long trip to Sheffield FC with a place in the next round of the United Counties League Cup secured thanks to Talib Copeland's late goal. A tight & competitive game throughout but Knowle edged it in the end 1-0.

The Vets put in a strong performance against a side from the league above, drawing 1-1 with Sporting Elite in the County Cup. Dan Coughlan notched his first for the club, but then the lottery of the penalty shoot out saw Knowle knocked out.

Pigeons rolled on to the next round of their cup competition however, beating Caldecott Arms 2-0. Ben Tomlinson and Charlie Manners with a goal in either half, before the latter was sent off. A good debut from Pierce Evans and off the pitch, congrats to Ryan McCourt for smashing the Nottingham Half Marathon!

The Women's Team were soundly beaten by Redditch Borough on Sunday afternoon. A sending off didn't help matters, but 9-0 the final score and a very bad day at the office.
