⚽️ Hindsford Hurricane girls team in their new away kit ⚽️
It's been a long time since we last posted here, and we want to start by saying thank you — to every single one of you who has supported Flynny's Future Stars, and for your patience with us while things have been quiet. Losing Chris has been the hardest thing our family has ever faced, and finding the strength to keep this page going in his name has taken us longer than we expected. We're sorry for the silence, and we're back now with an update we're really proud to share.
Thanks to your generosity, Flynny's Future Stars has raised an incredible £4,755 in Chris's honour. We've started putting that support to work in the local community, exactly as Chris would have wanted — helping kids keep playing the sports they love.
⚽ We've made a donation to Hindsford Hurricanes girls' football team, which has gone towards their new away kits.
🏉 We've also made a donation to Leigh Rugby Union Raiders under-14s, to help provide waterproof jackets for the lads ahead of the new season — a club that means a great deal to us, as it's where Chris started his own rugby career as a young lad.
There's more to come. We've got some exciting fundraising plans in the pipeline for the year ahead, and we promise to keep this page updated regularly from here on — no more long silences.
If you know a child or a local club who could benefit from some support from Flynny's Future Stars, please get in touch with us via Messenger. Chris was so generous — he'd help anyone he could who was in need, often quietly and without ever telling a soul. That's the spirit we want this charity to carry on in his name.
Thank you again, from all of us. Flynny would be so proud. ⭐
Good luck today to our Manchester 10k runners Ally, Toni, Hannah and Tania who, thanks to your kind donations, have managed to smash through the £4k mark.

Christian (Flynny) loved sports, believing in their power to inspire, unite, and transform lives. After his playing days were over, he became an avid fan of all sports and enjoyed the occasional flutter on the games. In his memory, we have decided to set up a fundraiser called Flynnys Future Stars, dedicated to supporting local children and local sports clubs.
Our mission is to provide underprivileged youth in our community with the opportunities, resources, and support they need to participate in and enjoy sports. Through our fundraising efforts, we aim to fund sporting activities, equipment, and essential resources for local clubs, ensuring every child has the chance to develop their skills, build confidence, and reach their full potential. We believe that sport can change lives, and through Flynnys Future Stars, we strive to create a brighter future for the next generation of athletes right here in our own community.
Your support will make a meaningful difference in the lives of local children and help keep Flynny’s love for sport alive in our community.
