More recently, journaling has become part of my self-care practice. Or more I have returned to it.

Not to escape life — but to come back to myself.

To process emotions instead of suppressing them.To reflect instead of constantly reacting.To create space to heal, grow, and understand myself more deeply.t

We spend so much time staying busy that we often forget to check in with our own emotional and mental state. But the inner work matters too.

Being a yoga teacher doesn’t mean I have everything figured out. If anything, it’s taught me that self-awareness is a lifelong journey — one we continuously commit to with patience, accountability, and care.

That’s also why our studio believes in “yoga for real life.”Not yoga for perfection. Not only for when you feel healed, calm, flexible, confident, or ready.

Just real people navigating real life the best they can.

Some days that looks like movement.Some days it looks like rest.Some days it looks like sitting with your thoughts and finally giving yourself the space to feel them.

And honestly, I have one of my students to thank for helping me reconnect with this practice after gifting me a journal for Christmas 🤍
