Lisburn Rangers Boys Youth Academy

For being the 1st match off the season the 2020's had there 1st Round Robins this morning at Laurelhill 3G with the weather on our side was a great morning.

All boys played expentionally well in all 4 off there games, there wasn't one boy who didn't get a goal 😀

Today, our 2019s played three fantastic matches, from start to finish they were completely unstoppable. All three matches were filled with lots of energy, great passing, teamwork & goals galore.

A fantastic effort from the boys this morning, showing excellent work rate despite having no subs. Each boy worked tirelessly from start to finish resulting in some great spells of football.

We were very unlucky with some of our chances, but the team kept fighting and created plenty of opportunities. Ryleigh was outstanding, scoring a hat-trick, while Aidan and Jude also got themselves a goal each which were both well taken.

Boys played 3 games against, Ballymacash, Crewe and Rosario.

First game against Ballymacash we started a bit slow but grew into the game and had them on the ropes by the end! Great goals from Sam and Caleb 💪

We played some nice football at times vs Crewe and were unlucky with some of the chances. Cracking goal from Finn A. And a defensive/goalkeeping master class from Max, Cillian, Alex,Jude and Fionn M with his last ditch interceptions.

The boys flew out of the traps in the last game with a great goal from Caleb. The next goal was special with the combination of passing between Cillian, Caleb and Sam! Shout out to Finn A for channeling his inner Peter Schmeichel in that match...some unbelievable saves in goal.

Lisburn Rangers Boys Colts 2013 v Moira FC 2013

This morning the boys took on Moira FC in Week 2 of the league.

The boys started brightly, scoring some great team goals to take a deserved lead into the break. The second half continued in the same way, with the boys creating plenty of chances and adding more excellent team goals to secure a well-deserved victory. 👏

2013 Jets pick up there first 3 points of the season against Lisburn City. And they done it in some style! Coming away as winners

Jack put away a penalty first half and Issac scored 2, the 2nd being a top bins finish from outside the box 👏

James then made key saves to keep us up for the break. We then lost James from nets, picking up an ankle injury 😭 but up stepped Lennon to put the gloves on!

Issac went on and got his hattrick and a 4th, before we scored an unfortunate owngoal at the end. Ryan wasnt having it and he broke off on the restart and put it past the keeper to make an additional goal.

All the lads put in an incredible shift, playing great football all round the pitch.
