A few more well deserved stripes given out yesterday evening. Congratulations to Peter, Cameron and Colin (Colin also really enjoyed his birthday shark tank!). Lots of hard work and the right attitude.
Well done also to our August student of the Month Rory Wilson who has been consistently working hard, learning his techniques and applying them when rolling.

Congratulations to Declan Cassidy and Keiran Devine on their new stripes at class last night. Both have been consistent and working on improving skills every week.
A good night on the mats yesterday with some throwing drills and sweeps as well as late birthday shark tanks for Tom and Keiran.
On Thursday we'll take these drills and bring them a little further.

Everyone working on some no gi in our open mat week and a shark tank for Adam and Peter.

Good work from everyone using gi grips to pass and mounted triangle arm bar to finish. Kids were fantastic last night too.

I met Aimee from Alzheimer's Society last Wednesday now that we have a final figure for our fundraiser.
We had lots of donations coming in after our event on 1st August so our final amount is a massive £3250.
Thanks again to everyone involved in the Cuilcagh hike and roll, fundraising and sharing awareness and info.

On Saturday 24th October 2026 Fermanagh Brazilian Jiu Jitsu will host a seminar with SBG Strabane head coach Garath Vaughan.

Garath is a bjj black belt under John Kavanagh and has won multiple European titles, invitationals all over the UK and Ireland and has won the IBJJF no gi worlds.

This will be a no gi seminar focusing on leg locks.
