Back on home turf this week, we all gathered at the Irish Centre. Well, nearly all...... Ando was missing !! Some excuse about working or some nonsense ๐ Autumn was deffo in the air and it was noticeably cooler this week. Huddled together for a photo and the safety sentence. Pat was just about to welcome the newcomer when we realised, they weren't new, it was Vicky M ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ No way !!! Having all pinched ourselves to make sure we weren't dreaming, we headed out. With Ando MIA it was up to Kev to lead the charge tonight. Ran down West Derby Road and then down Islington Mountain. No one complained about that I noticed ๐ค Crossed the road, headed across the top of town and over to the old Irish Centre. Regrouped and posed for a photo when the heavens opened.......and then closed again less than 20 seconds later ๐คฃ๐คฃ Weird weather. Ran up the steps of one of the Cathedrals and had a quick breather before heading down and through the Uni. Another quick regroup before we all started the ascent of Alpe Royal Hozzie and round to the top of London Road. C was particularly delighted with that hill ๐คฃ๐คฃ. Crossed the road and ran back to the Irish Centre.
Back at base, we gathered in and around the shed to drink Pats amazing brews and wash down a choccy biccy. All talk was of sacking Ando and putting Kev in permanent charge.......honest ๐ฌ ๐ช๐ช๐ฎ๐ช๐๐ค๐งก
Cooled down pretty quickly once I stopped running so we said our goodbyes.
Thanks guys, haven't done that route in a while. Really enjoyed it.
