What a fantastic initiative! 💙

Funded by Knowsley Council and delivered by Everton in the Community, the 12 week Safe and Steady programme helps older residents build their confidence, strength and mobility.

For week 10, participants at Bowring Park, were joined by Cllr Christine Bannon and former Everton player and Club Ambassador Ian Snodin for afternoon tea and conversations.

Once the programme finishes, participants can continue their journey through our health walks, gardening clubs and other activities at Bowring Park. 🌿

A Walk in the Park 🌿

Come and join us for our weekly walk around Bowring Park, a chance to get outside, get moving, meet new people and enjoy some good company along the way.

Each week, everyone is welcome, but we’ll be giving some of our walks a different focus to help bring people together.

Next week is our Mum & Baby Special 👶

Bring the pram, bring baby and come along for a relaxed walk around the park with other mums. It’s a lovely chance to get some fresh air, have a chat and meet new people and, as always, you don’t have to be a mum to join us. Everyone is welcome!

⏰ 1pm – 2pm
📍 Bowring Park & Golf Course

No pressure, no need to be super fit, just come along and enjoy A Walk in the Park.

And even better, everyone who joins the walk gets a FREE hot drink afterwards! ☕
