π΄βοΈ MSPC MINI CAMP 2026
What a fantastic three days we had at Mini Camp 2026!
We welcomed 23 mini campers, aged 3 to 10 years, with 12 staying overnight in the barn and a further 11 joining us each day.
Each day was packed with Pony Club fun, including morning and afternoon coaching sessions led by our fantastic coaches.
Mounted and dismounted activities challenged our young riders while keeping learning fun and engaging.
A huge thank you to our brilliant coaches - Vicki, Michelle, Georgie & Hollie - your enthusiasm for making every session so much fun, encouraging & full of learning. π
It was wonderful to see every camper grow in confidence. Some rode off the lead rein for the very first time, while others tackled the Owlhole jump, taking an exciting step towards Junior Camp.
A special thank you to our older MSPC members, who were fantastic role models and gave so much support to our younger campers, both on and off their ponies π
When they werenβt riding, campers enjoyed water games, Mini Olympics and scavenger hunts. There was something for everyone, whether they loved competition or simply wanted to build confidence and achieve their own personal goals.
Camp points were awarded for all-round effort, including riding, stable management, bed making, tack cleaning and teamwork.
π Congratulations to all eight campers who passed their E Test β a fantastic achievement!

MSPC JUNIOR & SENIOR CAMP 2026 βοΈβΊοΈπ΄
What an incredible week we had! Despite some exceptionally hot weather, our campers, coaches and volunteers embraced every challenge with enthusiasm. From 7am stable duties through to evening activities (and the much-loved hot chocolate!), every day was filled with riding, learning, laughter and friendship.
Camp is about so much more than riding. It's about building confidence, developing horsemanship, making lifelong friends and learning to support one another. Throughout the week we watched riders overcome fears, achieve personal goals, care beautifully for their ponies and encourage their teammates. Every single camper should be incredibly proud of what they achieved.
A huge THANK YOU goes to everyone who made camp possible.
π Our coaching team - for sharing your time, experience, encouragement and endless patience.
π Our wonderful stable team β Emma, Alison, Fran and Tessa β who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every horse and pony was cared for impeccably throughout the week. Their welfare was always the priority, allowing riders to focus on learning and having fun.
π Emily whose calm and efficient camp administration kept parents informed, schedules on track and countless behind-the-scenes jobs under control.
π Paul, James and Fran , for providing experienced medical and first aid cover throughout the week, giving reassurance to everyone at camp.
π Our incredible kitchen team - lead by Naomi - who somehow produced delicious home-cooked meals all week from a field kitchen, keeping campers, coaches and volunteers well fed.
π Our older Pony Club members - who returned to help while juggling work, university and other commitments. Thank you for being such fantastic role models and for helping wherever you were needed.
π Every parent and volunteer -
who prepared food, drove children to the lido, erected and dismantled camp, washed up, fetched, carried and quietly kept everything running behind the scenes. Camp simply couldn't happen without you.
π Everyone who generously loaned or shared their ponies and horses - ensuring that every member who wanted to attend camp had the opportunity to do so. Your generosity truly reflects the Pony Club spirit. Thank you Vicki for coordinating this π
π Becca and Rupert Harvie for once again welcoming us to Munstead Horse Trials. We are incredibly grateful for your generosity in allowing us to use such a wonderful venue for another memorable camp.
π Our District Commissioner, Gina Kitchener - for making it all happen. This was Gina's 47th Pony Club Camp.
From months of planning before camp begins, to being there every day for every camper, parent, volunteer and horse, and then continuing to return to Munstead long after everyone has gone home to ensure everything is packed away and the venue is left exactly as we found it. Thank you from us all
π Congratulations to our Award Winners
