A very varied clinic,even managed some drill riding to its always a good challenge.

Great to coach some young ones to.

Western OR English style makes no difference to me.

What makes the difference is your dedication,education,attitude and approach to your horsemanship.

Everyone wants their horse to be the best.

It's your job to be, and try your best to.

Laugh lots,learn more.

When in Rome and all that...

Sometimes we need to think fast on our feet as we dont have all our usual tools,and therfore the plan changed,the goal however stayed the same..

Improvising is a skill,somthing that improves with life lessons and experience

There is no such thing as a problem,it's how you view it!

Always make sure your fueled up!

Im working away from home and been out and about his weekend ,i have had some reflective time thinking about a lot obout my observations of late.

A few things have really came to mind again.

Allow your horse the time to search for the right answer,reward every try makes your horse feel good,happy and respected.

How do they show this?

They show this through their movement, carriage,and expression.

This relates to the people to,body language is facinating and can be so subtle in exression.

Muscle memory is a hard long process to retrain.

Habits are easy to form good and bad.

Always finish a session on a positive note,reward the try no matter how small,there is a thin line between being valued and feeling patronized.

Always allow reflection, encourage conversation.

Most of all keep it SIMPLE use words that are UNDERSTOOD.

Communication is a two way thing.
