✨ What a spectacular start to the Flamenco Festival at Sadler's Wells! ✨Sadler's Wells
Tonight I had the privilege of attending UnYDos by Jesús Carmona Company
Jesús Carmona Oficial , and what an incredible performance it was.🤩
From the very first moment, the stage was filled with passion, artistry and breathtaking energy. The technical level was simply outstanding, yet what moved me most was the emotion behind every movement. Powerful, elegant, intense and deeply human – everything that makes flamenco so special.👏🏻
It was also a joy to see the wonderful Lucía Campillo Lucía Campillo performing and to have the opportunity to congratulate her after the show. What a talented artist! ❤️🌹
Before the performance, I was delighted to share the evening with my lovely student Kareline, who joined me for this unforgettable opening night. It was also wonderful to see several other students from my classes attending both this performance and the opening show the previous evening. Seeing my students supporting live flamenco, discovering new artists and sharing these experiences together makes me incredibly proud and reminds me how special our flamenco community is. ❤️
If this first show is anything to go by, we are in for two fantastic weeks of flamenco in London. I can't wait to attend more performances and continue celebrating the beauty, strength and emotion of our art.
Thank you to all the artists for such an inspiring start to the festival. Flamenco Festival
¡Viva el Flamenco! 💃🔥🕺🏻

50 years, two cities, one very grateful heart ❤️
This year I had the privilege of celebrating my 50th birthday in the two cities I call home: Madrid, where my roots are, and London, where I found love and built a life filled with friendship, flamenco, opportunities and dreams come true.
Thank you to everyone who celebrated with me, whether in person, through a message, a phone call or simply by keeping me in your thoughts.
These photos are much more than birthday celebrations. They are a reminder of the incredible people who have walked alongside me throughout the years: family, friends, students, colleagues and so many wonderful souls who have enriched my life.
Reaching 50 surrounded by so much love is a gift I will never take for granted.
Here's to the next chapter: more dancing, more adventures, more laughter and more memories together.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. ❤️💃🇪🇸🇬🇧

“People often ask me: How do you remember all the choreography?
And my answer is always: everything is in the music.”
I was reading El cerebro de la danza and found this beautiful reflection by Joaquín de Luz that resonated with me so deeply as a flamenco dancer and teacher.
“Sometimes I hear a melody and I remember the steps of a choreography I performed at school more than thirty years ago. It is as if those notes became tattooed into our body.”
This is exactly how I experience flamenco too.❤️🔥
Music lives in the body. Once the music starts… the movement appears naturally. 💃

This week is my final week of training before I run the Race for Life this Saturday 💗
Today I walked the route in Regent’s Park with my partner, feeling every step with purpose.
I am running in memory of my mum Mimi, my dad Nano, my grandfather Yayo, my uncles Urbano and Javi, and my cat Tiga 🤍
All of them taken by cancer.
I run for everyone who has lost someone.
For everyone fighting.
For those who have beaten it.
And for all of us, to keep cancer as far away as possible.
If you feel called to support, even a small contribution makes a difference:

Thank you for being part of this journey 💫
