Losing is hard — especially for kids. In martial arts, we teach that defeat isn’t something to be explained away, but something to learn from.

When a child hears “Don’t worry, you were cheated” after a loss, it takes away their power to grow. Instead of learning resilience, they may start blaming the world instead of improving themselves.

At Absolute Martial Arts, we believe in teaching children to handle setbacks with strength and honesty. A loss is not the end — it’s a chance to get back up, try again, and become even stronger. 💪

Karate Kid Championships in Harlow

We placed 🥈🏆second, overall of 38 associations and clubs.

We had 25th finals and we won 🥇47 medals.

🥇 9 golds, 🥈16 silver and 🥉22 bronze!

Well done to our kata teams placed 🥇1st and 🥈2nd on girls kata team 9-12yrs.

Is hard to nominate somebody. All beginners or more advanced ones had a wonderful attitude.
