Meet Miss Alex — Principal of Maida Vale Ballet School and a passionate advocate for nurturing young dancers. 🩰✨

Miss Alex began dancing at the age of five and went on to train as an associate of the Royal Ballet School before studying at the Hammond School and the Royal Academy of Dance.

Her professional career has taken her to theatres across Britain and abroad, performing in productions such as Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty, appearing in London’s West End, on television for the BBC and ITV, and as lead dancer at the renowned Estoril Sol Casino in Lisbon.

But beyond the stage, Miss Alex’s greatest passion has always been teaching.

At Maida Vale Ballet School, she has created a welcoming and encouraging environment where children can develop confidence, discipline, musicality and a genuine love of dance. Her students have gone on to train with prestigious institutions including the Royal Ballet School, English National Ballet School, Sylvia Young and Italia Conti — while many simply discover joy, friendship and self-belief through ballet.

Her combination of professional experience, warmth and dedication is what makes Maida Vale Ballet School such a special place to learn and grow.
