A great day of cricket at Windsor Castle on Sunday. Although the Buccaneers lost, it was a close game with The Royal Household winning with 2 overs to spare. A very enjoyable day for all, and we look forward to going back next season!

Dear players and friends of the Lords Taverners,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has played and contributed to this season of the new look âLords Taverners Buccaneersâ. The season has been the best that I can remember in many years and this is all down to you for making the effort to play the game in the manner in which the game was intended to be played.
I would like to personally thank my right hand man Rob Craze (fixtures secretary) â Jessica Clilverd (Club Secretary) Robert Melhuish (Scorer) and Dan Heath (match manager) for going the extra mile. It would not have been the success it has been without you, Thank you.
6 Gold pins have been awarded this year for excellence on the field. Arthur Newman (5 wicket haul & 100 Not out in one game) Rob Craze (105), Cameron Taylor (5 wicket haul), Wakeel Shah (127 not out), Callum Berrill ( Celebrity call up) Ben Clilverd (Celebrity call up, also catch of the season).
Next year is shaping up to be even bigger, also there is the introduction of some amazing opportunities for our players, watch this space!
We will continue to support the charity thought the off season and will start our winter net sessions in February. Enjoy the off season everyone.
Many thanks
Richard Wilson
âChairmanâ

The last game of the season couldn't have been any better - wonderful game played with some fabulous characters from the west end. The Stage CC is truly one of the last remaining entertainers on the circuit, well done to all the New Taverners who played in their first game. Thank you for your time and dedication to the charity.

Reminiscent of the Battle of Thermopylae, the brave and loyal LTB,LMS players fought hard. With only 5 players.....we took the game to the opposition with the batting - notable performances we from Henry Hazelwood and Callum Berrill. The Skipper, Wilson, tried to hold back the runs with a variation of spin and seam but alas the lack of fielders was our down fall. Glass proved himself as a up coming batsman and Chris kept well on a very unusual outfield! So close....next year we will succeed, well done guys.

Huge day in the Taverners fixture list, the Presidentâs XI verse the Royal Household XI at Windsor Castle. With the Duke of Edinburgh as our patron itâs always a great fixture to play against the Queens âRoyal Household XI.â Unfortunately we lost AGAIN! Dennis proved too good for us, his advanced gr***de lobbing, was just too cunning, 6 â 52. Next year!!!

The Lord's Taverners v Essex CCC. Our Chairman Richard Wilson and Buccaneers big hitter Callum Berrill played in the celebrity Team for the Ravi Bopara benefit game, Callum Hitting 98 (not out) from 7 overâs right under the noses of the Essex management!! Richard is still convinced he had Ravi on the run with his in swinging yorkers.....
