The IFCA championship in Hvide Sande provided a fitting finale to the 2026 IFCA season, combining high-level racing with a welcoming event atmosphere, strong organization and a venue that continues to play an important role in international windsurfing.

Day 5 leaves one final day to decide the European titles.

Jenna Gibson windsurfing - GBR 96 continues to dominate the Women’s fleet, holding the lead after 14 races, while Justine Lemeteyer 171 has put herself in a strong position to secure 2nd place.

In the Men’s fleet, everything remains open after seven eliminations. Nico Prien holds onto the lead, followed by Taty Frans in 2nd and fortune_sacha in 3rd.

Tomorrow marks the final day of the 2026 IFCA Fin Slalom European Championships.

Day 3 brings more movement to the leaderboard in Hvide Sande.

Jenna Gibson windsurfing - GBR 96 remains in the lead of the Women’s fleet, while Justine Lemeteyer 171 and Femke Van der Veen NED are now tied on points.
With both pushing for 2nd place, the battle for the remaining podium spots are still open.

In the Men’s fleet, Nico Prien GER delivered another solid performance and holds onto 1st place after Day 3, while fortune_sacha moved up into 2nd.

Day 4 is expected to be exciting with an Early Morning Start.

The Women completed 9 races, while the Men finished 4 eliminations.
