And with that, the IFCA Foiling European Championship has come to an end! 🌊🏆
Despite challenging conditions, the riders completed 17 races in the Women’s Foiling, 7 eliminations in the Men’s Foiling, and 3 eliminations in the Men’s Fin. A huge congratulations to all competitors for an incredible week on the water!

Foil Slalom European Championship Finale in Germany.
The final day delivered everything we could have hoped for.
With exciting racing in both Foil and Fin Slalom, the 2026 IFCA Foil European Championships came to a spectacular closure in St. Peter-Ording, Germany.
After five days of competition, the 2026 IFCA Foil European Champions were crowned, bringing an unforgettable week of racing to a fitting close.
Congratulations to all the athletes for their incredible performances, and a heartfelt thank you to the race crew, volunteers, organizers, partners, and everyone behind the scenes who made this event such a success.

Conditions favoured Fin Slalom races. Congratulations to all competitors on today’s racing.

Day 3 was all about racing.
After yesterday's lay day, the fleet returned to the water for a full afternoon of action.
🇸🇮 Lina Eržen extended her dominance, while 🇧🇶 Amado Vrieswijk climbed to the top of the men's leaderboard.

Day 3 saw the athletes return to the water for an afternoon packed with exciting Foil Slalom action.
In the Women's fleet, Slovenia's 🇸🇮 Lina Eržen delivered another dominant performance, winning 10 of the 11 races completed so far and putting herself in a commanding position for the European title.
The Men's fleet produced high-intensity racing with major shifts throughout the leaderboard. After five eliminations and the first discard coming into effect, 🇧🇶 Amado Vrieswijk from Bonaire holds the overall lead heading into the final days.
Stay tuned, the battle for the Men's podium is far from over in St. Peter-Ording.
