Have you ever done The Cat, kneeling and thought that you’d love to take it into a hamstring stretch? This can be done with or without a short red spring. I like to ask clients to initiate from the top of the head rolling down, and then starting from the tailbone rolling back up one vertebrae at a time.

Exercise doesn’t have to be big to be effective! Sometimes small movements, executed at the right angles are exactly what your client needs. If a client isn’t ‘feeling it’, have a look at their position, the angle of their body, the spring, the variation you chose, or the apparatus you chose to do it on. Small adjustments can make a huge difference!
