Some highlights of an amazing journey...

What a good looking crew. Shame about the chap in the middle.
Everyone's back at the hotel in Moshi with beers firmly in hands and being enjoyed by 30 freshly showered and beaming intrepid climbers! CHEERS!
WELL DONE to our climbers!!! Summit night was the toughest we've experienced at BMF, with appalling weather at the summit. 28 of our 30 set out and 26 made it to Stella Point (the crater rim), with a further 20 then making it to Uhuru Peak - an outstanding achievement given the conditions. Moral is now sky high, and they are on their final push down to the base, having had their last night under canvas. Beer and barbecue awaits! We are really proud of everyone.

Today's the big day for our Kili team. They've reached Barafu camp where they'll rest and prepare for their trek to the summit tonight. Wishing them well for what is going to be the most amazing view and accomplishment.
Day 4 for our Kili trekkers and they're a couple of hours away from Karanga Valley Camp where dinner will be waiting for them. There's a few queasy stomachs but this is to be expected. The groups moral is still high and our mountain leaders have finally got phone reception so will be passing on your messages tonight over dinner.

Kili Report Day Three! The team have had a long and tough but successful day. They were hiking through snow early this morning - fresh after last night's storm. Today was an acclimatisation day - walking up to 4200m before descending to a lower level to camp, and everyone has taken this in their stride. They're currently sitting eating popcorn and peanuts and waiting for their dinner! There are a few queasy stomachs, but that's to be expected at this point.
A few 'hello's'...Monty wants to say hello to all his crew, and Janet and Alex say a big hello to their children! All your messages have been relayed to them but they don't have mobile reception to receive them quite yet.
Have a look at the map for their progress - you can see a live version on www.bmfkili.com.
Our Kili trekkers have now arrived at Shira 2 Camp where they will be spending their second night. After yesterdays rain the group were lucky enough to have some perfect walking weather. The groups spirits are high and as the clouds start to clear their enjoying a beautiful view of the glaciers. If Emma Lunns mum is reading this she would like you to know she hasn't fallen off the mountain.
Day 1 is complete for our Kili trekkers and they have reached their first stop at Big Tree Camp. Due to muddy roads they had to walk an extra 3 hours to get to the start point so have done a total of 6 hours walking today in some very wet weather. Although there are some wet feet, the spirits are still high and the whole group has made it. Unfortunately the yellowbrick tracker is having trouble transmitting right now but don't worry they have all arrived at their overnight stop off point. Day 1 is complete!
