POV: you thought you’d “just jump into” a Metcon class.

An hour later you’re questioning your lungs, pacing and a few life decisions.

But somewhere between the warm-up and the burpees it became abundantly clear why everyone keeps coming back.

Not because it’s easy. Because somehow it’s fun. Can’t explain it either.

Hope you enjoy this Schadenfreude content. As for Metcon? 10/10, would reluctantly recommend.

Getting started on your fitness journey is the hardest part. Building a habit that lasts requires momentum and it’s impossible to gather momentum if you hate what you’re doing, unless you’re a ma*****st. Find something you enjoy with people you like and get stuck in.

We’ve got a bunch of ways to help you get fitter and stronger. All you need to do is make time to sweat.

Intro offer in our bio.

A little inside look into 3 of our members, Martin, James and Sandra, who are prepping for their SBD Comp later this month!

Strength is the easy bit.

It’s the turning up when nobody’s watching.
The sessions that don’t make Instagram (ironic…).
The lifts that don’t quite go to plan.
Coming back anyway.

Three different approaches.
Three different goals.
One thing in common: they keep showing up.

A look inside the minds of the 10:30 club

Red flags uncovered
Unnecessary cues identified
Who certainly shouldn’t take up DJ’ing

All bringing the positive vibes
Even when the “zone 2 workout” inevitably goes south

Capturing the energy of Metcomp
And boy was there was a lot of it

Bells were lifted
Ergs were rowed and skied
Wall balls were thrown

Smiling through it all 👀
Okay okay, I hear you, maybe not all
But nonetheless another Metcomp under the belt.

CRANK x Gymsync, the third instalment of us capturing your effort.

All very smooth on the outside, seamless transitions, tidy reps, the sort of flow that suggests everything is under control.

But for those that were there, we know it wasn’t always flowing that smoothly. The deep breaths, the mid round negotiations and the quiet agreement between legs and lungs to see this through.

A bit of a struggle. A lot of graft. In it together.

The Engines Comp recap is here and I’m sure it didn’t feel that slow when it was happening.

They say a picture tells a thousand words
But from looking at these videos I think it’s fairly obvious which ones stand out.

Your engines didn’t quit
Plenty left in the tank, even if your face disagreed.
