The cricket season may be over … BUT the fun never stops at the Old Saw Mill! 🏏🌱

While the players enjoy a well-earned break, the OSM is getting the VIP treatment - scarification, reseeding and top dressing with fresh loam, with a little help from Jordan Sports.

A huge thank you to Matt Harris, Tom Leadbitter, Andy Murphy, Christy Sullivan and Richard Key, who give up their time to keep the Old Saw Mill and Sanderstead Rec looking their best. 💚💛

A lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes — and we’re incredibly grateful for everything you do! 👏🏏

Another 2026 season highlight…

A FIRST ADULT FIFER FOR JAKE! 👏🔥

A game-changing performance for the 3s in their final game of the season, taking 5/34 — off the back of 4/20 the week before.

Huge congratulations from all of us at SCC, Jake. 💚💛 A fantastic achievement, and we’re looking forward to plenty more wickets next year!

We feel very fortunate at Sanderstead to have such a talented group of young players coming through the ranks. The future is looking bright! 🌟

LOOKING FOR A NEW CLUB?

Following a brilliant 2026 season, Sanderstead CC is looking for new players to strengthen our senior sides for 2027.

We’re looking for good-standard, competitive cricketers who want to play serious Saturday cricket — but also want to enjoy everything that comes with being part of a thriving, sociable club.

With five Saturday XIs, talented young players coming through, great facilities and a social calendar that’s almost as competitive as the cricket 🍻🏏, there’s plenty happening at Sanderstead.

Good cricket. Great people. A proper club atmosphere. 💚💛

A slightly belated presentation for Tyler Ward, who unfortunately couldn’t make our Awards Evening at Farleigh Golf Club to collect his half of the 1st XI Player of the Year award.

A very well-deserved award after a stellar season for the 1s. 👏

Huge congratulations, , from everyone at SCC! 💚💛

A FIRST ADULT 100 FOR LUCA! 💯🏏

What a way to finish the season! A brilliant 103 retired not out for Luca Rees in our final Sunday game of 2026 – his first century in adult cricket. 👏

Huge congratulations from everyone at SCC, Luca! 💚💛 A fantastic achievement and we look forward to seeing you hit many more next season!
