The big day is almost here! Gus’s Captain’s Drive-In at Finchley Golf Club will begin at 8:00am, with members asked to arrive from 7:45am to give Gus a great send-off onto the 1st tee.

Gus has kindly arranged a drink and breakfast bap for everyone attending. The bar and kitchen open from 8am.

🌟 Special Guest Drive-In
We’re delighted that incoming Junior Captain Daisy Sumner will also be driving in.

Running on the 1st tee:
• £2 per guess
• £1 to the winning pot

From October, men and women will be able to play from any tee — for both casual and competition rounds!

This exciting change, approved by .golf means every player can choose the course that best suits their ability, confidence, and style of play.

✨ Why it matters:
• Play fair, fully mixed club competitions
• Choose a course that matches your game — white (6,302 yds), yellow (5,978 yds), red (5,570 yds), or our winter blue (5,691 yds)
• New golfers can start on a gentler course and progress as they improve
• Mixed and family groups can now tee off together
• Greater flexibility for club competitions and events

Each course has been officially rated for both men and women, and we’ve introduced a new scorecard to reflect the changes.
