βοΈ SU***DE THROWS IN BUHURT β tactical sacrifice or unnecessary risk?
Taking yourself down to remove an opponent can sometimes make tactical sense, but when is that trade actually worth it?
Thereβs also a big difference between already going down and taking your opponent with you, and deliberately sacrificing your own position to bring someone down.
And then thereβs safety. Poorly executed su***de throws can remove control from the takedown and increase the risk of injury to both fighters β particularly the opponent being taken down.
So we want to hear from the Buhurt community:
π When do you think a su***de throw is justified?
π What situation makes sacrificing yourself worth it?
π And do you think theyβre sometimes used when they shouldnβt be?
Our π₯ take:
Relying on su***de throws in buhurt can hold back your development. Taking yourself and your opponent down whenever youβre outwrestled cuts short your chance to learn. It might help you win today, but working through those tough exchangesβeven when you loseβhelps you build the skills to eventually beat them.
Interested to hear how different fighters and teams approach it. βοΈ
