β¨ Continuing Professional Development with Dru Yoga β¨
Today I had the pleasure of attending a Post Graduate training day with Dru Yoga, focusing on adapting Dru Yoga sequences for Chair-Based Yoga (EBR2).
As a yoga teacher, I am passionate about continuing my professional development to ensure I can provide safe, effective and inclusive sessions for all abilities. This training has enhanced my knowledge and skills in adapting Dru Yoga practices for those who may prefer or require the support of a chair.
Chair-Based Yoga offers many benefits, including improving mobility, flexibility, strength, balance, posture and overall wellbeing, while making yoga accessible to a wider range of people.
Iβm looking forward to incorporating these new techniques into my Chair-Based Yoga and Chair-Based Exercise classes, helping participants gain even more confidence, independence and enjoyment through movement.
Learning never stops, and Iβm grateful for every opportunity to deepen my knowledge and better support the wonderful communities I work with. π

β¨ Taking Time to Pause and Recharge β¨
This weekend Iβve been enjoying some much-needed time for my own wellbeing at the wonderful The Big Retreat Festival. π
It has been such a lovely experience filled with yoga, meditation, breathwork, sea swimming, sound baths, live music and the most amazing positive vibes throughout the weekend. π
One of the biggest reminders for me has been the importance of slowing down, pausing and making time to nurture our own physical and mental wellbeing. As someone who spends so much time supporting others, itβs equally important to refill our own cup too.
Iβve also been very lucky to share this special experience with my lovely close friend Caron Salt, creating memories, laughter and moments of calm together. π
Returning home feeling grounded, uplifted and inspired to bring even more positive energy into my DruwithjuYoga classes and sessions.
