💛💙 LOVE RUGBY FESTIVAL 2026 💙💛

Sunday was a fantastic day for girls’ rugby at Loughborough RFC as we hosted our annual LOVE RUGBY FESTIVAL to kick off the new season! 🏉

Over 400 girls from 17 clubs came together for a brilliant afternoon of rugby, with the focus firmly on enjoyment, getting as much game time as possible and making sure everyone could get involved. Where needed, players were loaned between teams so nobody missed out — exactly what grassroots rugby should be about! 🙌

It was a great mix of players too, from those who have only recently started playing to girls who have been involved for years. Days like Sunday are so important in creating a positive, welcoming environment and helping the girls’ game continue to grow. 💙💛

A huge thank you to all the fantastic teams, coaches, volunteers, parents and players who came along and made it such a brilliant afternoon.

We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did… see you again next year?! 👀🏉

💛💙
