Ludgvan Lions JFC is a community football club based in Ludgvan, Cornwall whos ground is located at The DEN. We are members of the Kernow league and Football Association (FA) accredited. We train teams from U6 through to U16.

🦁 IT’S GAME DAY 🦁

The wait is finally over… this Sunday sees the start of the new season, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Our Lions are back in action with a busy first Sunday of fixtures with teams right across the club pulling on the Ludgvan shirt and representing our fantastic club.

After all the hard work during pre-season it’s brilliant to finally see the boys and girls back out there playing football again.

A huge good luck to every single one of our teams this Sunday. Go out there, enjoy your football, give it everything and most importantly… have fun!

To all our coaches, volunteers, parents and supporters — thank you for everything you do behind the scenes to make Sundays like this possible ❤️

🦁 WELCOME BACK TO THE DEN! 🦁

It’s so good to finally see football being played back at The Den after a long summer away!

A massive thank you to Nathan Gendall and Justin Clemens for all the hard work you’ve put in to get the pitches ready and playable for the new season.
The hours, effort and dedication you put in behind the scenes doesn’t go unnoticed and we’re incredibly grateful for everything you do for our club ❤️

A special mention to all of our coaches and committee members heading into the new season.
Running a football club and looking after our teams takes a huge amount of time, commitment and dedication often behind the scenes and without anyone seeing it. We genuinely couldn’t do it without you.

And finally, to all of our players, parents, carers, grandparents and supporters — thank you! ❤️

You are the heart of Ludgvan Lions. Whether you’re on the pitch, on the sidelines, helping behind the scenes or simply cheering the children on every weekend, you all play a massive part in making this club what it is today.

A massive thank you to our Club Welfare Officer, Charli 🦁

Charli attended a really informative session on Saturday picking up lots of useful information that we can take forward into the new season and beyond.
We’re incredibly lucky to have people like Charli giving up their time and continuing to develop their knowledge to help keep our club and most importantly our children safe.

A big thank you to St Day AFC for their hospitality and to Cornwall Football Association for hosting the course.

Our littlest Lions had their second training session last night and what a fantastic group of boys they are! ⚽️

They’re all so eager for next weekend and the start of the new season and it’s brilliant to see them out there enjoying their football, learning new skills and most importantly playing with huge smiles on their faces!

Next weekend is going to be extra special as they’ll be pulling on their very own Ludgvan Lions kits for the first time!
We can’t wait to see them out there representing the club and enjoying their first games of the season.

The future is looking very bright for our little Lions and we can’t wait to watch them grow, develop and enjoy their football together.

A massive thank you to Charli from For Heaven’s Bake for her incredibly kind donation of 3 sets of goals ready for the new season. 🥅⚽️
Charli is also our Club Welfare Officer and her continued support and dedication to Ludgvan Lions means so much to us.

THANK YOU Peninsula Grounds Care!

A massive thank you to Peninsula Grounds Care for coming down this morning and doing a fantastic job marking out both of our pitches ready for the new season!

The pitches are looking great and, with the start of the season just one week away, the excitement is really starting to build!

We can’t wait to see all of our players back out there again — boots on, footballs flying and most importantly, the children doing what they love ⚽️

A huge amount of work goes on behind the scenes to get The Den ready for another season, and we really appreciate everyone who gives up their time and supports our club.

A HUGE thank you from everyone at Ludgvan Lions to our Club President, Simon Hollywood, for his very generous donation of a new container for the club.

Our previous container had more holes than a sieve, so this new one is a massive upgrade and will make a huge difference to the club!

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to A R Newport Transport & Storage for the safe transportation and delivery of the container. We really appreciate your support.

The hard work never stops at The Den – Home of our fantastic club!

There’s plenty more to come, and we’re incredibly excited about what the future holds for Ludgvan Lions.
