Last Sunday afternoon was taken up with our first Badminton Tournament hosted by Anisa.

20 ladies took part, playing doubles, at Denbigh High School.

Exciting start saw favourites Binish and Maiza zoom into the lead, however, as we all know, that doesn't guarentee a win.

As all the doubles battled it out - everyone halted to watch the semi finals and final, seeing Attia and Myesha take 1st place.

🎉🎉🎉🎉Results are

🥇1st place Attia and Myesha
🥈2nd place Binish and Maiza
🥉3rd place Judith and khoyrun

Well done to all who took part, and we are looking forward to holding many more.

If you are interested in taking part in our next tournament, get in touch by dm, or email [email protected]

# Project LCS Summer Fundraising Drive

Project LCS is launching a summer fundraising campaign to help support our sports clubs, including netball, badminton, and basketball.

Our goal is to raise enough funds to subsidise weekly club fees and keep participation affordable for all members, reducing the cost to just **£1.50 per session**.

We are asking all members, families, and supporters to get involved over the summer by organising fundraising activities such as bake sales, sponsored events, car washes, community stalls, or any other creative fundraising ideas. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help us continue providing accessible sporting opportunities within our community.

All funds raised should be paid directly into the official Project LCS bank account:

**Account Number:** 67385108
**Sort Code:** 08-92-99
**Bank:** Co-operative Bank

This fundraising drive reflects our commitment to remaining a community-led organisation that stays true to its values. We recognise the importance of making our clubs affordable and inclusive while ensuring that their future sustainability is supported by the collective efforts of our members and wider community.

Together, we can help keep our clubs thriving, accessible, and welcoming for everyone.

We also have opened a crowdfunding page for donators outside of the community. Please check out our website for full details www.projectlcs.org.uk
