🔥 12 September - Women’s 1s first league game
🏑 19 September - Women’s 2s, Men’s 2s & Men’s 3s get underway
💥 26 September - Men’s 1s first league game

🏑 JUNIOR HOCKEY IS BACK! 💚

Our junior sessions are getting ready for the new season, with hockey for boys and girls across a range of age groups.

Whether they're picking up a stick for the first time or already love the game, New Forest Hockey Club is a brilliant place to learn, develop and have fun.

📅 Training starts Wednesday 2nd September
📍 Lymington Leisure Centre

👧 Year 6–9 Girls - Wednesdays, 6:00–7:15pm
👦 Year 6–9 Boys - Thursdays, 6:00–7:15pm
🏑 Year R–5 Mixed - Saturdays, 9:00–10:15am

🏑 WE NEED UMPIRES! 💚

Fancy getting more involved with New Forest Hockey Club while earning a bit of extra money and developing a new skill?

We're looking for umpires to support our teams at home on Saturdays throughout the season.

And there are some pretty good perks:

💷 £20 for every game you umpire
🥪 Free post-match teas – the hockey kind!
📚 NFHC will contribute towards the cost of your umpire qualification
🏠 Home Saturday fixtures as standard
🏑 Opportunities to umpire additional games if you'd like to

You don't need to be an experienced umpire to get involved. If you're interested in learning, we'll support you through the qualification process and help you build your confidence along the way.

Most importantly, you'll be helping New Forest Hockey Club keep our teams on the pitch and supporting your local club.

Whether you're a current player, former player, parent, partner, student or simply someone who loves hockey - we'd love to hear from you.

A huge congratulations to all our New Forest players who have received their A-level and GCSE results over the past couple of weeks! 🎉

Whether you've got the results you were hoping for, are heading off to university or college, starting an apprenticeship, entering the world of work, or figuring out what's next - we hope you take a moment to be proud of everything you've achieved.

Results day is just one milestone, and there are so many different paths ahead.

The FIH Hockey World Cup is here, and there's something really important we can all do to help the future of our sport - watch it!

Every England match is available LIVE and FREE on Channel 4 Sport YouTube, meaning anyone can tune in without a subscription.

But this isn't just about watching some great hockey.

The more people who watch, the more visible hockey becomes. More viewers help demonstrate that there is an audience for our sport, strengthening the case for greater coverage, investment and opportunities for hockey.

England Hockey CEO Rich Beer has made increasing the visibility of hockey one of the organisation's biggest strategic priorities, and has challenged the hockey community to help make this World Cup their biggest audience yet.
