Due to extended building works and problems relating to electics etc. The club will not open today until 3pm. We appologise but this is beyond our control.

It has been decided that our "Event of the past" Sunflower Sunday, 4th October will be cancelled! It seems that our seasons are changing and the sunflowers have all died earlier than in the past years. We may have to re-think and bring the calendar forward for any arrangements we make for 2027. We hope you had some pleasure in watching the seeds grow in your garden even if entering them into the compatision did not go ahead.

Sunday October "Sunflower" Day.
After a conversation with John Chaffy last night, it appears that many sunflowers have not done well this year. We are in doubt if the afternoon can go ahead? How are yours doing? It is also difficult to find any form live music in our budget to play for a couple of hours on that afternoon. It looks as if the traditional day may have to be cancelled due to lack of produce in the form of sunflowers!
